Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Barnola uses cookies and similar technologies on this website and in the Barnola app. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Apps use similar technologies, such as local device storage, to remember settings between visits.
2. Cookies on this website
This website does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies or third-party tracking cookies. Fonts and images are served from our own servers, so loading a page does not share your visit with other companies.
When you send the contact form or join the waitlist, we receive the details you enter and your IP address (used only to prevent spam). No cookie is set for this.
3. Storage in the app
This storage is strictly necessary for the app to work. It is removed when you sign out, delete the app or delete your account.
- Sign-in tokens, stored securely on your device, so you stay signed in.
- Your settings, such as notification preferences, and a cached copy of your favorites.
- A push notification token, if you allow notifications.
4. Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; this website will keep working. In the app, you can sign out, turn off notifications, or delete your account from Profile → Privacy & Security.
5. Changes to this policy
If we start using cookies that are not strictly necessary, such as analytics, we will update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
